A trip to Turkey must include a stop at Cappadocia, a semi-arid region known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” which are tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Göreme, and elsewhere. The landscape itself is stunning, and the climate and weather conditions make it perfect for balloon flights. The excellent flying conditions allow for amazing views of the spectacular, surrealistic landscapes. Hundreds of balloons gently drift over and between pigeon houses hewn into the unique rock formations. While in the sky, visitors may see Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by cave dwellers and later used by early Christians on missions in the region. To celebrate the iconic features of this incredible travel destination, Anderson Design Group poster artists have hand-rendered this original illustration in the fashion of vintage poster art and retro travel art. This classic design is available as a poster, print, canvas, mini canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
