In a country full of historic landmarks, it is difficult to single one out which stands above them all. But many German residents and visitors alike would agree that the Neuschwanstein Castle is the jewel of Germany. The castle was completed in 1869. It was built for King Ludwig II, though the King only spent 11 nights there. Today, Neuschwanstein Castle is a German icon. The castle receives as many as 6,000 visitors per day! Anderson Design Group was inspired to render a vintage travel poster of the castle, a handcrafted depiction of Neuschwanstein Castle in all its splendor and glory. This retro artwork is available as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, or as a set of notecards or postcards. To learn more about the castle, check out the website for the German National Tourist Board.
