Easily one of the most visited parks in the United States, Mt Rushmore National Memorial is known not only for its historical significance but also for the sheer level of ingenuity and hard work that went into creating it. Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, this memorial stands as a testament and a salute to four of this country’s great presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. About three million people visit this memorial each year, seeking to pay homage to the four presidents and to learn about this country’s history. Anderson Design Group created vintage travel poster art of the mountain, a carefully drawn rendition of the monument in the styles of early-20th century vintage artwork. To learn more about the memorial or to plan a trip there, check out the visitor's schedule at the National Park Service.
