A state synonymous with the “Deep South,” Mississippi is known for being where Root Beer was invented, where the War of 1812 was won, and where good ol' fashioned country blues music was born. A region rich in religion and culture, Mississippi has more churches per capita than any other state. About 63 percent of Mississippi is covered in woods, giving the region a wild, wilderness aspect to it. Visitors to Mississippi bask in the warm summer sun while hiking, backpacking, canoeing, or simply driving along the state's many winding backroads. Seeking to capture the southern charm of Mississippi, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage travel poster art of the state, creating a classic rendition of an old Mississippi home and a nearby Magnolia tree.
