Chimney Tops is a mountain in the central Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. It is 4,724 feet above sea level. The Chimney Tops Trail is one of the most popular trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park because of its length and spectacular views. The trail gains 1,400 feet in nearly 2 miles which makes for a steep climb, but the final 0.25 mile section of the Chimney Tops Trail has been closed to all public use. This top section of the trail to the Chimney Tops pinnacles was heavily damaged by fire in 2016, so the upper section of trail and rocky pinnacles are off limits to hikers. The artists of Anderson Design Group have made this illustration into a lovely poster design that will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
