Why is Tennessee called the Volunteer State? Historians say it's because Tennessee played a prominent role in volunteering soldiers for the War of 1812. Today, that title still means a lot to Tennesseeans, as we are a state that takes volunteering as something that everyone should commit some time to. Inspired by the community-driven nature, the “help each other” principles of Tennessee, Anderson Design Group crafted vintage poster art in commemoration of the Volunteer State. Available as a print, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this vintage poster is a great reminder of what Tennessee is all about.
