Washington, DC: Jefferson Memorial In Bloom (Mod Design) By Annie E. Cauffman, Joel Anderson, 2024

From the WPA to the TWA, Anderson Design Group celebrates all of the iconic art styles of the early and mid-20th century. To bring a little mod art into our National Park art and National Park posters, Anderson Design Group collaborated with mod artist and digital painter Annie E. Cauffman. Annie's bold sense of style and her vintage mid-century mod rendering techniques add a classic jet-age whimsey to ADG’s popular American Travel poster art series. Reminiscent of the iconic TWA posters and travel illustrations of the mid-20th Century, this retro design celebrates the vivid colors of spring in the DC area. The cherry trees which line the Tidal Basin in West Potomac Park were a gift from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912. Tended to and cared for to this day, these cherry trees always amaze visitors when they blossom into full color in the late spring. Seeking to capture the beauty and the artistic nature of cherry blossoms in full array, Anderson Design Group hand-created a vintage travel poster. You can order this retro-styled artwork as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
