Welcome to the prestigious Fisk University, a well known college in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1866, Fisk University is the oldest institution of higher learning in Nashville. It is also the first African American university to gain accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The school maintains a commitment to diversity, equal learning, and the highest academic attainment possible. Anderson Design Group rendered a vintage poster of the school, a fitting image of one of the school’s original buildings. The Jubilee Hall was completed in 1876, and it still stands tall and proud today. Inspired by Nashville’s best local example of Gothic Revival architecture, our artists were compelled to create poster art of the building, our own tipping of the hat to the deep roots of Fisk University.
