Zimbabwe, landlocked country of southern Africa. It shares a 125-mile border on the south with the Republic of South Africa and is bounded on the southwest and west by Botswana, on the north by Zambia, and on the northeast and east by Mozambique. The capital is Harare (formerly called Salisbury). It is known for its dramatic landscape and diverse wildlife, much of it within parks, reserves and safari areas. Matusadona and Mana Pools national parks, are home to hippos, rhinos and birdlife. The Malilangwe Trust is responsible for one of the world's most successful, critically endangered black rhino programs. The reintroduction population has grown by 532% in 21 years for black rhino and 729% for the white rhino. Matobo National Park is the oldest in Zimbabwe, established in 1926. It boasts impressive rock formations, rhino preserves, and many other scenic wonders. The artists of Anderson Design Group have created this original illustration, handcrafted to celebrate the beauty of Zimbabwe. This design will look lovely as a print, canvas, metal sign, postcard or notecard.
