Welcome to Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. Called as such for the undulating flow of sandstone rock that looks almost like lava, Valley of Fire State Park attracts thousands of visitors each year. The park is chockfull of mesmerizing rock formations, incredible, flowing stone mounds, arches, bridges, spires, mesas, plateaus, and buttes. This park is not only a hiker’s and photographer’s dream, but it is a good study in the effects of wind and water erosion. Prevailing winds and seasonal flooding has shaped this region over the course of thousands of years. Inspired by the flowing nature of the rocky hills and bluffs, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage travel poster art of the park, a fitting and classical rendition of two hikers making their way across the rocky terrain.
