National Parks grab both our attention and major news headlines, but there are other places, paths less traveled and less talked about, that offer equally incredible wilderness opportunities with a fraction of the visitation and human presence. The Three Sisters are one such place. What are they? The Three Sisters are closely spaced volcanic peaks in the state of Oregon. They are part of the Cascade Volcanic Arc, a segment of the Cascade Range in western North America extending from southern British Columbia through Washington and Oregon to Northern California. On a clear day from viewpoints throughout Central Oregon, the Three Sister mountains command attention as gorgeous snow-capped peaks seen to the west. Each of this trio of volcanic peaks reaches more than 10,000 feet in elevation. Rock-climbing, hiking, backpacking, camping, swimming, mountain biking, and photography awaits! To celebrate the paths less traveled in national recreation areas (these places receive far fewer visitors than National Parks), Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered an original illustration in the fashion of vintage poster art and travel art. This retro design and original National Park art is available as a poster, print, canvas, mini canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
