Easily one of the most impressive parks on the eastern seaboard, Central Park offers 1.3 square miles of expertly manicured and maintained park features in the very center of Manhattan. Park maintenance is partially funded by the “Adopt a Bench” program, a program in which local philanthropists donate to the fund and then get a plaque with their name on it affixed to a bench of their choosing!
