Named after the Huron Indigenous tribes that inhabited the region during colonial times, Lake Huron actually comprises the eastern portion of the combined Lake Michigan - Lake Huron body of water. And that's because Lake Huron is technically connected to Lake Michigan due to the five-mile wide Straits of Mackinac at the northern tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Inspired by the beauty and wonder of the lake, Anderson Design Group hand-rendered vintage poster art of some of the rock formations that protrude out into Lake Huron. This retro illustration of “Turnip Rock” is available as a poster, print, canvas, banner, postcard, notecard, or metal sign.
