On October 14, 2023, an annular solar eclipse will cross North, Central, and South America. In the U.S., the annular solar eclipse will begin in Oregon at 9:13 a.m. PDT and end in Texas at 12:03 p.m. CDT. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Sun seems to form a ‘ring of fire’ around the Moon. It will only be visible along a narrow path that crosses the U.S. from Oregon to Texas. People will flock to National Parks such as Great Basin (far from urban air pollution with wide, open spaces and more or less within the eclipse’s path) to witness the historic event. To celebrate the eclipse, the artists of Anderson Design Group have created this vintage-looking poster art and commemorative print. Enjoy the National Park art as a poster, canvas, mini-canvas, postcard, note card, or metal sign. Also, don’t forget to wear specialized eye protection designed for solar viewing!
