An epic tale both timeless and infinitely exciting, the Count of Monte Cristo follows Edmund Dantes, the protagonist who is betrayed and falsely imprisoned just when he's about to get married. (Worst timing ever!) While imprisoned, Dantes learns the location of the treasure on the Island of Monte Cristo, the central location of the book and soon to be the impassioned mission of the protagonist. Determined to get his revenge for his false imprisonment, Dantes establishes himself as the Count of Monte Cristo in order to seek out the treasure. To celebrate the classic work in vintage poster art, the artists of Anderson Design Group rendered this classic book cover and poster design as a part of the Literary Classics Collection, celebrating great books of all genres.
