Indiana Dunes National Park, a protected wildlife region is home to a wide range of bird species. Among them are the striking Red-winged Blackbirds. These black birds boast distinct red and yellow shoulder patches. They are a delight to watch as they forage and play. Males are glossy black with red and yellow shoulder patches that they can puff up or hide. Females are dark brownish with paler breasts and sometimes have whitish eyebrows. Red-winged Blackbirds are native migratory birds and are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. Anderson Design Group was proud to collaborate with master pastel artist Arden von Haeger to create this special illustrated poster design. Arden's classic hand-rendered illustration style conveys grandeur, romance, and nuance. His inventive use of color and his unique Art Deco styling deliver a delightful new take on some of America's most iconic destinations. Celebrating Indiana Dunes National Park in rich hues, this artwork will make a beautiful gift or a unique decor accent for your home or office. Available as a poster, print, canvas, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork looks fantastic on any wall and in any room.
