Scotty's Castle is a two-story Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival style villa located in the Grapevine Mountains of northern Death Valley National Park. The iconic landmark is named after gold prospector Walter E. Scott, although Scott never owned it, nor is it an actual castle. Death Valley National Park's magnificent landscape of desert color, scorched earth, and looming mountain ranges serve as the perfect backdrop for Scotty's Castle. Created in the motif of the early- 20th century Golden Age of Illustration, this oil painting is now available from Anderson Design Group as a framed print, metal sign, canvas, or set of notecards or postcards.
