The Badlands: don’t let the name fool you. While the Lakota Indians of old may have scorned the “Mako Sica” (meaning “Land Bad”) for being an inhospitable and difficult land to traverse, today's visitors can enjoy the good life on this 244,000 acre national park. To celebrate that good life, Anderson Design Group has hand-illustrated national parks posters of the Badlands in a style that takes us back to the Golden Era of Illustration. In this print, a herd of bison lean into the prairie winds while the Black Hills loom like statues in the distance. This vintage national park poster would make the perfect centerpiece for any room’s decor.
